Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies across inland parts of the Pilbara and Kimberley.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad trough of low pressure lies inland from the west coast and will move
eastwards on Friday. A weak cold front will brush the south coast on Friday
with cooler conditions across the southwest of the State following the front as
a ridge of high pressure develops from the west.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 26 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over most parts of the State away from the west
coast north of Mandurah. Heavy falls possible in the Goldfields and South
Interior.

Forecast for Friday 27 February
Showers in southern parts of the South West Land Division with thunderstorms in
the east. Showers and thunderstorms over most remaining parts of the State,
apart from the western Gascoyne and western Pilbara. Heavy falls possible in
the eastern Goldfields, South Interior and the Eucla.

Forecast for Saturday 28 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern half of the State with heavy falls
possible. Showers in southeastern parts of the South West Land Division with
showers and possible thunderstorms in the eastern Goldfields and Eucla.

Forecast for Sunday 1 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern half of the State with heavy falls
possible. Morning showers about the coastal Eucla. Showers and possible
thunderstorms in the northern Central West.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
