Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad heat trough lies over the inland Kimberley and across the eastern
Pilbara.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold will brush the south coast during Sunday morning. A new ridge of
high pressure develops south of WA on Monday. On Tuesday and Wednesday a trough
will deepen near the west coast.
Forecast for the rest of Sunday 26 October
Showers over southern and western parts of the South West Land Division,
clearing during the day. Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley
and the northern and central Interior, mostly in the afternoon and evening.
Forecast for Monday 27 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley and the central and
northern Interior, mostly afternoon and evening.
Forecast for Tuesday 28 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, the eastern inland
Pilbara and the northern Interior, mostly afternoon and evening. Late
thunderstorms possible over the northern Goldfields and northern parts of the
South West Land Division.
Forecast for Wednesday 29 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, the eastern inland
Pilbara, Interior, Goldfields, eastern Gascoyne and eastern South West Land
Division. Late drizzle possible about the SW corner.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
