Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad heat trough lies over the inland Kimberley and across the Pilbara. The
trough will contract eastwards during Wednesday and Thursday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies near the south coast, and a trough will deepen
near the west coast during the day. The surface trough will then move into
central parts of the State on Wednesday. A weak cold front will reach the SW
Capes late on Thursday before weakening over southern parts on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 28 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, the eastern
Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, and the Interior, mostly
afternoon and evening. Late thunderstorms possible over western parts of the
South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 29 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, the eastern inland
Pilbara, southwestern Interior, Goldfields, central and eastern South West Land
Division and the southern and eastern Gascoyne. Showers or drizzle possible
about the western south coast and adjacent parts, mainly afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Thursday 30 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, Interior, Goldfields,
Eucla, far eastern Gascoyne, and eastern South West Land Division, contracting
eastwards during the day. Showers developing about the southwest parts of the
State during the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Friday 31 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, far eastern Pilbara and
the northern Interior. Showers and drizzle over southern parts of the South
West Land Division easing during the afternoon and evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
