Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad heat trough lies over the inland Kimberley and across the Pilbara. The
trough will contract east during Thursday, but extend westwards during Friday
and Saturday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad trough lies over central parts of the state and will contract eastwards
during Thursday ahead of a weak cold front which will brush the southwest of
the State late Thursday. A ridge of high pressure will develop in the wake of
the front on Friday with a high pressure system moving into the Bight on
Saturday. Another weak front will near the southwest of the state during Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 30 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, Interior,
Goldfields, Eucla, far eastern Gascoyne and far eastern parts of the SW Land
Division, contracting eastwards later. Showers or drizzle over near coastal
parts of the South West Land Division, increasing between Cape Naturaliste and
Walpole late afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Friday 31 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior and eastern Eucla.
Showers or drizzle over southern parts of the South West Land Division
contracting to the Eucla coast in the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Saturday 1 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northeastern Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 2 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northeastern Interior. Showers
developing about the southwest Capes and extending to southwest of a line Perth
to Albany in the evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
