Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad heat trough lies over the inland Kimberley and across the eastern
Pilbara.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A new ridge of high pressure develops near the south coast of WA today. On
Tuesday a trough will deepen near the west coast. The surface trough will then
move into central parts of the State on Wednesday. A weak cold front will reach
the SW Capes late on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 27 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the far northeast Pilbara, north and west
Kimberley and the central and northern Interior, mostly during the afternoon
and evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 28 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, the eastern inland
Pilbara and the Interior, mostly afternoon and evening. Late thunderstorms
possible over the northern Goldfields, northeast Gascoyne, and northern parts
of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 29 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, the eastern inland
Pilbara, Interior, Goldfields, central and eastern South West Land Division.
Late drizzle possible about the western south coast.

Forecast for Thursday 30 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, the eastern inland
Pilbara, Interior, Goldfields, Eucla, eastern Gascoyne, and eastern South West
Land Division, contracting eastwards during the day. Showers developing about
the southwest parts of the State during the afternoon and evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
