Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure over central WA will strengthen mid week with an
increase in easterly winds over the north of the state.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep low pressure system well south of the state is moving eastwards. A cold
front will cross the southwest of the state during Tuesday, weakening as it
moves across the southern half of the state late Tuesday and into Wednesday. A
high pressure system will move over the southwest corner during Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of Monday 26 May
Showers in the South West Land Division, western Goldfields and along the Eucla
coast, contracting to near coastal parts in the afternoon. Morning showers and
thunderstorms in the eastern Interior.
Forecast for Tuesday 27 May
Showers across the South West Land Division, southwest Goldfields, and near the
Eucla coast.
Forecast for Wednesday 28 May
Showers near the south coast. A band of showers moving across inland parts of
the southern half before dissipating during the afternoon. Early showers near
the west coast.
Forecast for Thursday 29 May
Showers near the south coast, extending inland to the southern Goldfields and
southeastern Great Southern for a period during the middle of the day.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
