Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure over central WA will strengthen mid week with an
increase in easterly winds over the north of the state.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will weaken as it moves across the southern half of the state
during Wednesday, with a low south of the state moving east into the Bight on
Wednesday and further east on Thursday. A high pressure system will move over
the southwest corner during Wednesday in the wake of the low and into the Bight
on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 28 May
Showers near the south coast. A band of showers moving east across inland parts
of the southern half of the state. Showers near the west coast south of Shark
Bay clearing during the afternoon.

Forecast for Thursday 29 May
Showers near the south coast, extending inland to the southern Goldfields and
southeastern Central Wheat Belt for a period during the day and reaching the
Eucla in the afternoon. Thunderstorms possible about the Eucla coast late
afternoon.

Forecast for Friday 30 May
Showers near the south coast and over the Eucla. Thunderstorms about the Eucla
coast.

Forecast for Saturday 31 May
Morning showers near the Eucla coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
