Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A deep surface trough lies through southern parts of the Pilbara and Kimberley
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system will move to the south of the State during Tuesday and
into the Bight by Wednesday. A low pressure system will form over the western
Gascoyne on Wednesday with a trough extending down the west coast. The low will
move south eastwards, reaching the south coast on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of Monday 30 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and Interior. Light showers near
the south coast.
Forecast for Tuesday 1 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior and Gascoyne. Morning
showers in far southern parts. Windy through the South Interior, Gascoyne and
northern Goldfields during the morning.
Forecast for Wednesday 2 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, inland Pilbara,
Gascoyne, Goldfields and the northern half of the South West Land Division.
Windy through the Interior, Gascoyne and Central West during the morning.
Forecast for Thursday 3 December
Showers and thunderstorms over most parts of the State, apart from the Pilbara
and Gascoyne coasts.
Forecast for Friday 4 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the South West Land Division and eastern parts
of the State.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
