Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A rain band lies across the Pilbara and into the Interior, and will be slow
moving over the next few days.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure will lie over southern parts of the State for the next
few days. A weak cold front will move across the south coast this morning
followed by a second front later Wednesday. A rain band will lie over central
parts of the state for the next few days.
Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 26 May
Areas of rain and possible thunderstorms through the Pilbara, northeast
Gascoyne, northeast Goldfields, Interior and Eucla. Moderate falls possible
over the central Pilbara. Showers south of a line from Jurien Bay to Esperance.
Forecast for Wednesday 27 May
Areas of rain and possible thunderstorms through the Pilbara, Gascoyne,
northern Goldfields, Interior and Eucla, gradually easing late in the day.
Showers near the southwest coast from Cape Naturaliste to Albany
Forecast for Thursday 28 May
Showers and thunderstorms through the Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, northern
Goldfields and Interior. Showers near the South West district coast and along
the south coast to Esperance.
Forecast for Friday 29 May
Showers and thunderstorms through the Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, northern
Goldfields and Interior. Showers near the south coast and Eucla coast.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
