Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A high pressure system over the south of the State in combination with a
weakening low north of the Top End is producing an easterly flow over northern
parts. A trough lies across the central Kimberley.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system lies over the south of the State with a weak trough
passing near the south coast on Sunday afternoon. A series of cold fronts will
move over the southwest of the State from late Monday night and during Tuesday
before a ridge develops over central parts on Wednesday and Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 1 June
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the far north Kimberley. Showers
developing near the Southwest Capes late Monday evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 2 June
Showers west of a line from Carnarvon to Merredin to Hopetoun, with heaviest
falls near the west coast south of Perth early in the morning. Possible early
morning thunderstorms over the Central West, Lower West and Southwest
districts. Slight risk of showers and thunderstorms through the far west
Pilbara and northwest Gascoyne.

Forecast for Wednesday 3 June
Showers southwest of Jurien Bay to Ravensthorpe to Israelite bay, contracting
to the coast between Perth and Walpole in the afternoon.

Forecast for Thursday 4 June
Showers west of Bunbury to Windy Harbour, with a slight risk of a shower near
the coast between Perth and Bunbury.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
