Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A weakening tropical low lies well to the west northwest of Exmouth and will
continue to track west. A broad trough develops near the Pilbara coast and
Kimberley coast from Monday to Wednesday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad surface trough over central parts of the State will move east a ridge
of high pressure develops south of the State. A trough develops near the west
coast during Wednesday and Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 29 January
Showers and thunderstorms throughout, tending to rain in a band across the
Lower West, Central Wheat Belt and Southeast Coastal and adjacent parts, easing
from the west during the afternoon and evening. Heavy falls possible at times
in the band. Heavy falls and gusty winds possible with thunderstorms just north
of the band.

Forecast for Monday 30 January
Showers and thunderstorms over most parts except over southern parts of the
Southwest district. Showers tending to rain in a band across the Lower West,
southwest Central Wheat Belt, northeast Great Southern and Southeast Coastal
districts. Heavy falls possible in the rain band.

Forecast for Tuesday 31 January
Showers and thunderstorms over northern and central parts. Rain and the chance
of thunderstorm in the southern half apart from southern parts of the Southwest
district. Rain over southern districts easing from the west during the day.

Forecast for Wednesday 1 February
Showers and thunderstorms northeast of a line Shark Bay to Southern Cross to
Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Thursday 2 February
Showers and thunderstorms north of a line Shark Bay to Leonora to Forrest.
