Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies through inland parts of northern WA.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge lies south of the state with a weak trough near the west
coast that will deepen during Thursday and Friday. A cloud band lies across
southern parts of the State, with possible heavy falls, and will contract
eastwards during Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 30 January
Rain, heavy at times, through areas south of a line from Jurien Bay to
Kalgoorlie and north of a line from Bunbury to Bremer Bay.
Showers and thunderstorms over most parts north of the rain band, with gusty
winds and heavy falls possible with thunderstorms in the Goldfields, Gascoyne
and inland Central West district.

Forecast for Tuesday 31 January
Rain with possible heavy falls through areas south of a line from Jurien Bay to
Kalgoorlie and north of a line from Bunbury to Bremer Bay. Rain easing from the
west during the afternoon and evening.
Showers and thunderstorms over most parts of the State north of the rain band,
with gusty winds and heavy falls possible with thunderstorms in the Goldfields,
Gascoyne and northeastern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 1 February
Showers in northern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division, clearing
during the day. Showers and thunderstorms over most remaining parts of the
State tending to rain in the southeast.

Forecast for Thursday 2 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the inland Central West and northern Central
Wheat Belt, the northern Goldfields and remaining northern and central parts of
the State.

Forecast for Friday 3 February
Showers and thunderstorms across areas of the State northeast of a line from
Shark Bay to Dalwallinu to Esperance.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
