Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies across the inland Pilbara and North Interior. A tropical low is
likely to track from east to west across the northern Kimberley mid week before
moving offshore from the west Kimberley later in the week. Please refer to

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies near the south coast and a trough is developing
near the west coast. The trough continues to deepen over the next few days
before moving east on Thursday. A ridge of high pressure develops near the
south coast later Thursday and Friday as the trough moves east.
Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 24 January
Showers and thunderstorms in the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, Gascoyne and far
northern inland Central West. Heavy falls possible in the northeastern
Kimberley.
Forecast for Wednesday 25 January
Showers and thunderstorms in the Kimberley, Pilbara, North and South Interior,
western Gascoyne and far northern Central West. Heavy falls possible in the
northern Kimberley.
Forecast for Thursday 26 January
Showers and thunderstorms in the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern and central
Interior and northern Gascoyne. Heavy falls possible over the Kimberley and the
adjacent Pilbara.
Forecast for Friday 27 January
Showers and thunderstorms in the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Gascoyne,
northern Goldfields and Interior. Heavy falls possible near the western
Kimberley coast and the northern Pilbara coast. Showers possible near the
western and central south coast.
Forecast for Saturday 28 January
Showers and thunderstorms in the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields and
Interior extending into the Eucla and northern parts of the South West Land
Division during the afternoon. Heavy falls possible near the western Kimberley
coast and the Pilbara coast. Morning showers possible near the western and
central south coast.
