Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies through central parts of the state, with a cloud
band expected to develop over the Gascoyne during late Wednesday, before
decaying during Thursday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is contracting eastwards, as a weak cold front
approaches the southwest corner of the state. The cold front is expected to
reach the southwest Capes early Thursday morning, moving through the SW Land
Division to lie over eastern and northern agriculture parts by evening. A ridge
of high pressure will develop over southern parts in the wake of the front,
with a high pressure system moving south of the state on Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 25 June
Showers near the southwest Capes and near the south coast west of Albany. Areas
of patchy rain developing over the western Gascoyne during the evening.

Forecast for Thursday 26 June
Isolated showers about the west coast south of Jurien Bay, ahead of a band of
showers moving through the SW Land Division during the day. Showers contracting
to coastal parts between Jurien Bay and Israelite Bay in the wake of the Band.
Areas of patchy rain about the Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, far west Interior
and adjacent Central West, clearing in the evening.

Forecast for Friday 27 June
Showers over the southern and western parts of the SW Land Division, and along
the Eucla coast, extending into the southeast Goldfields for a period during
the day. Showers contracting to the south coast by the evening.

Forecast for Saturday 28 June
Showers about southern coastal parts, extending into the southern Goldfields
and inland Eucla for a period during the day.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
