Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies through central parts of the State.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system lies through central parts of the State. On Tuesday a
cold front will approach the southwest corner, with a cloud band developing
over the far southwest of the state ahead of the front. The cold front will
move through the Southwest Land Division and the adjacent Gascoyne, Goldfields,
and Eucla during Wednesday. On Thursday a high pressure system will move over
southern parts of the State and persist over southern areas on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 1 July
Showers over the South West, Lower West and adjacent parts, extending eastwards
during the afternoon, and tending to areas of rain late afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Wednesday 2 July
Areas of rain or showers mainly about western parts of the SW Land Division,
extending throughout the SW Land Division into the Gascoyne, Goldfields and
Eucla during the afternoon and evening. Showers in the SW Land Division
contracting to mainly southern coastal parts by evening.

Forecast for Thursday 3 July
Showers near the south coast, contracting eastwards during the day. Areas of
morning frost over inland parts of the South West Land Division. Isolated early
morning showers about the eastern Gascoyne, northeast Goldfields and eastern
Eucla.

Forecast for Friday 4 July
Isolated showers about the southwest Capes, becoming widespread in the
afternoon and extending eastwards to areas southwest of a line Jurien Bay to
Hopetoun by late evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
