Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies through central parts of the State, with a cloud
band expected to develop over the southwest Gascoyne during late Wednesday,
before decaying during Thursday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is contracting eastwards, as a weak cold front
approaches the southwest corner of the state. The cold front is expected to
reach the southwest Capes early Thursday morning, moving through the SW Land
Division to lie over eastern and northern agriculture parts by evening. A ridge
of high pressure will develop over southern parts in the wake of the front,
with a high pressure system moving south of the State on Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 26 June
Isolated showers about the west coast south of Jurien Bay, ahead of a band of
showers moving through the SW Land Division during the day. Showers contracting
to coastal parts between Jurien Bay and Israelite Bay in the wake of the Band,
but areas of drizzle forming about eastern parts of the SW Land Division late
evening. Small hail possible about the western south coast from the evening.
Areas of patchy rain about the southwest Gascoyne clearing early afternoon.

Forecast for Friday 27 June
Showers over southern and western parts of the SW Land Division, and along the
Eucla coast, contracting to the south coast by the evening. Small hail possible
about the south coast east of Albany. Areas of morning drizzle about northern
and eastern parts of the SW Land Division and southwest Goldfields.

Forecast for Saturday 28 June
Showers about southern coastal parts, extending into the southern Goldfields
and inland Eucla for a period during the day.

Forecast for Sunday 29 June
Showers about southern coastal parts east of Albany, extending into the inland
Eucla for a period during the day. Showers contracting to south coastal parts
east of Esperance towards evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
