Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A near stationary surface trough extends from the inland Kimberley to the
western Pilbara, moving off the Pilbara coast for periods in the morning.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies to the south of the state, and a trough near the
west coast interacting with a middle level disturbance. On Thursday and Friday
the trough will move inland. On Saturday a cold front will crossover the
southwest parts of the state.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 26 March
Showers and thunderstorms for the north and west Kimberly and the Pilbara.
Showers with the chance of thunderstorms over the Gascoyne and the South West
Land Division, extending into the southwest Goldfields during the evening.
Morning drizzle near the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Thursday 27 March
Showers and thunderstorms near the west Kimberley coast, the Pilbara, Gascoyne,
Goldfields, and the adjacent Interior and Eucla. Showers and thunderstorms over
the northern half of the South West Land Division. Showers southwest of a line
Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay, contracting to the western south coast in the
afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Friday 28 March
Showers and thunderstorms near the west Kimberley coast, and the Pilbara.
Showers along the south coast west of Israelite Bay, clearing in the afternoon.
Showers and thunderstorms through the Goldfields, far southeast Gascoyne.
southern Interior, and Eucla.

Forecast for Saturday 29 March
Showers southwest of a line Bunbury to Albany in the morning, and extending to
remaining areas southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay. Showers and
thunderstorms near the west Kimberley coast, the central and eastern Pilbara,
and the far northwest Interior. Showers and thunderstorms in the Southeast
Coastal district and the adjacent Goldfields and western Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
