Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A near stationary surface trough extends from the northwest Kimberley to the
western Pilbara.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough lies near the west coast. The trough will move inland during Saturday
as a cold front moves over southwestern parts of the state, with a weak ridge
of high pressure developing in its wake on Sunday. A second weaker cold front
will brush the far southwest corner of the state late Monday with a new ridge
of high pressure developing south of the state on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 29 March
Showers over the South West district and adjacent parts, extending to southwest
of a line Kalbarri to Esperance by the evening. Showers and thunderstorms near
the west Kimberley coast, western Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, far northern
and eastern parts of the South West land Division and the western Eucla.

Forecast for Sunday 30 March
Early showers clearing from mainly central, northern and eastern parts of the
South West Land Division. Showers near the south coast, mostly clearing during
the day. Showers and thunderstorms across central and southeastern WA and over
the west Kimberley coast and far east Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 31 March
Showers southwest of a line Mandurah to Albany, contracting to the south coast
west of Hopetoun by evening evening. Showers and thunderstorms over the
Kimberley and southwest Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 1 April
Showers near the south coast. Morning showers near the west coast south of
Jurien Bay. Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern Interior,
far eastern Goldfields and the Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
