...Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through Sunday morning...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* a portion of middle Tennessee...including the following
counties...Bedford...Cannon...Cheatham...Clay...Coffee...
Cumberland...Davidson...De Kalb...Fentress...Giles...Grundy...
Jackson...Lawrence...Macon...Marshall...Maury...Overton...
Pickett...Putnam...Robertson...Rutherford...Smith...Sumner...
Trousdale...Van Buren...Warren...white...Williamson and
Wilson.

* Through Sunday morning

* a deep southerly flow of tropical moisture combined with an
unusually strong upper level low will bring several more
rounds of showers and thunderstorms through Sunday.

* Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches with locally
higher amounts are possible over the weekend. Storm total
rainfall over the 5-day period from Wednesday July 3rd through
Sunday July 7th may reach 4 to 10 inches in some locations.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

should flash flood warnings be issued.
