Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A weak ridge of high pressure lies over central parts of the state,
strengthening during Friday and Saturday. An increase in E'ly winds on Friday
and Saturday as the high pressure system establishes over central parts of the
state.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A series of weak cold fronts bringing showers to mainly lower west and southern
coastal parts during Thursday before a high pressure system establishes on
Friday and Saturday. Showers about the western South coast on Saturday and
extending a little further inland to southwest of a line Lancelin to Bremer Bay
on Sunday in a Westerly flow as the high pressure system moves east.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 1 August
Mainly coastal showers from Kalbarri to Israelite Bay, with light showers
extending inland to southwest of a line Kalbarri to Leonora to Eucla for a
period during the day.

Forecast for Friday 2 August
Light showers near the south coast and Eucla coast.

Forecast for Saturday 3 August
Light showers southwest of a line Cape Naturaliste to Albany.

Forecast for Sunday 4 August
Showers southwest of a line Cape Naturaliste to Albany, extending to southwest
of a line Lancelin to Bremer Bay by evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
