Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over the south of the state. An increase in winds
on Friday and Saturday as a high pressure system moves over the southwest.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies across central parts of the state. A series of
weak cold fronts produce showers over southwestern parts before mostly clearing
on Friday as a new high pressure system moves over the southwest.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 31 July
Isolated showers over areas southwest of a Geraldton to Ravensthorpe, extending
along the southeastern coast later. Showers more frequent in the Lower West and
near the western south coast this morning.

Forecast for Thursday 1 August
Showers throughout the Southwest Land Division, southern Goldfields and
southern Eucla, contracting to southern and western coastal parts during the
afternoon. Only light falls inland.

Forecast for Friday 2 August
Isolated light showers near the south coast.

Forecast for Saturday 3 August
Isolated light showers near the southwest Capes.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
