Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A band of middle level cloud extends from the far west Pilbara to the Eucla, is
moving east and weakening.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep low pressure system lies to the south of the state, producing wet and
windy conditions over much of the southern half. Conditions will ease from the
west during Saturday. A weaker cold front will affect the southwest on Sunday
and another on Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of Saturday 27 July
Patchy rain gradually clearing the far southeast Gascoyne, southern Interior
and eastern Eucla.
Showers over remaining southern districts, more frequent with isolated
thunderstorms and small hail over most of the SW Land Division, gradually
contracting into the southern Goldfields and Eucla during the day.
Windy across much of the southern half of the state, easing during the late
afternoon.
Forecast for Sunday 28 July
Showers southwest of a line Kalbarri to Esperance, easing over inland parts
later in the day. Showers becoming more frequent with possible isolated
thunderstorms over the Southwest district and adjacent parts in the afternoon
and evening.
Forecast for Monday 29 July
Showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Salmon Gums to Eucla, mainly over
near coastal parts.
Forecast for Tuesday 30 July
Showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Albany.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
