Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the inland Kimberley to the west Pilbara coast.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A weakening ridge of high pressure lies south of the State. The remnants of
Ex-Tropical Cyclone Marcus will pass over the southwest corner of the State on
Monday as a weak low pressure system. A new ridge of high pressure will then
develop over southern parts of the State on Tuesday and remain until Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 25 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley in the afternoon and
evening. Light patchy rain over the southern South West Land Division and
Goldfields and Eucla, contracting southeast overnight.

Forecast for Monday 26 March
Areas of rain over southern and western parts of the South West Land Division
and southern Goldfields, tending to drizzle in the morning near the west coast.
Showers and thunderstorms over the north Kimberley coast, mostly afternoon and
evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 27 March
Light showers over the South West Land Division and far southern Goldfields,
contracting to the south coast and west coast by late morning . Showers and
thunderstorms over the north Kimberley coast, mostly afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Wednesday 28 March
Light showers about the south coast west of Bremer Bay. Morning showers near
the Eucla coast. Showers and thunderstorms over the north Kimberley coast,
mostly afternoon and evening. Possible showers and thunderstorms developing
over eastern parts of the Kimberley and northeastern Interior late evening.

Forecast for Thursday 29 March
Showers near the south coast. Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and
northeast Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
