Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the inland Kimberley to the west Pilbara coast.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
The remnants of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Marcus passes to the south of the State as
a weak low this evening. A new ridge develops over the southern parts of the
State with a weak cold front passing over the southwest Capes on Wednesday. A
new trough develops near the west coast on Thursday and Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 26 March
Areas of rain over southern and western parts of the South West Land Division
and southern Goldfields. Showers and thunderstorms over the north Kimberley
coast, mostly afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 27 March
Light showers over the South West Land Division and far southern Goldfields,
contracting to the northern parts of the South West Land Division, northern
Goldfields and south coast during the morning. Showers and thunderstorms over
the north Kimberley coast, mostly afternoon and evening. Light showers
developing near the Eucla coast in the evening.

Forecast for Wednesday 28 March
Light showers about the south coast west of Bremer Bay. Showers and
thunderstorms over the north Kimberley coast, mostly afternoon and evening.
Possible showers and thunderstorms developing over eastern parts of the
Kimberley and northeastern Interior in the late evening.

Forecast for Thursday 29 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and Northern Interior. Morning
showers near the south coast.

Forecast for Friday 30 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and Northern
Interior, extending throughout the inland parts of the Pilbara, Gascoyne, South
West Land Division and Goldfields in the afternoon. Showers near the south
coast west of Albany.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
