Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
Moderate to fresh easterly winds across the Pilbara and Kimberley for the next
few days. Increased rainfall over the western Pilbara and Gascoyne on Monday
before easing during Tuesday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough lies near the west coast. Rain and thunderstorms will develop over
western districts during Monday from middle level cloud streaming in from the
northwest. The surface trough will move through eastern parts of the South West
Land Division and Goldfields during Tuesday, with rain extending to central and
eastern parts of the South West Land Division and Goldfields before contracting
southeast. A new ridge establishes south of the State on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 31 March
Rain and thunderstorms over northern and eastern parts of the South West Land
Division, Goldfields, Gascoyne and western Eucla, contracting southeast during
the day. Possible heavy falls over eastern parts of the SW Land Division and
the adjacent Goldfields. Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west
Kimberley, Pilbara, southwest Interior and remaining Eucla. Showers over
remaining parts of the South West Land Division, contracting to the western
south coast during the day.

Forecast for Wednesday 1 April
Showers over southern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division,
southern and western Goldfields and the western Eucla. Showers and
thunderstorms over the eastern Eucla, north and west Kimberley, far northeast
Goldfields, inland Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne and the southern Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 2 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Eucla, north and west Kimberley,
inland Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne and the southern Interior. Showers over the
southern and western Eucla coasts with morning showers possible in the
northwest Goldfields. Afternoon showers over the northern South West Land
Division and southern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Friday 3 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, inland Pilbara,
Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and Interior extending to northern parts of the
South West Land Division and the remaining Goldfields during the day. Showers
over the southern Eucla and the adjacent Southeast Coastal district.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
