Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
Moderate to fresh easterly winds across the Pilbara and Kimberley for the next
few days. Rainfall will increase over the western Pilbara during Monday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough lies near the west coast. Rain and thunderstorms will develop over
western districts during Monday from middle level cloud streaming in from the
northwest. The surface trough will move through eastern parts of the South West
Land Division and Goldfields during Tuesday, with rain extending to central and
eastern parts of the South West Land Division and Goldfields before contracting
southeast. A new ridge establishes south of the State on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 30 March
Rain and thunderstorms over the western Pilbara, Gascoyne and northern parts of
the Goldfields, extending south through the South West Land Division and
Goldfields during the day. Heavy falls possible over the western Pilbara and
western Gascoyne. Afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms over the
north and west Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 31 March
Rain and thunderstorms with possible heavy falls over northern and eastern
parts of the South West Land Division, Goldfields and the Gascoyne, contracting
southeast during the day. Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west
Kimberley, the Pilbara, southwest Interior and the western Eucla. Showers over
remaining parts of the South West Land Division, contracting to the western
south coast during the day.

Forecast for Wednesday 1 April
Showers over southern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division and the
Goldfields. Rain and thunderstorms over the Eucla, easing to showers during the
day. Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, inland
Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne and the Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 2 April
Showers over eastern and southeastern parts of the South West Land Division,
the Goldfields and the Eucla, with morning thunderstorm possible over the
eastern Goldfields and the inland Eucla. Showers and thunderstorms over the
north and west Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne and the Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
