Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
Moderate to fresh easterly winds across the Pilbara and Kimberley for the next
few days. Rainfall will increase over the western Pilbara on Monday, with the
remnants of ex-Tropical Cyclone Nathan to be near the Northwest Cape by Monday
morning.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough will develop near the west coast on Sunday. Rain developing over
western districts on Monday from middle level cloud streaming in from the
northwest. The surface trough will move through eastern parts of the South West
Land Division and Goldfields during Tuesday, with rain extending to central and
eastern parts of the South West Land Division and Goldfields before contracting
southeast. A new ridge establishes south of the State on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 29 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne,
western Interior, and extending into the far northern parts of the Goldfields.

Forecast for Monday 30 March
Rain and thunderstorms over the western Pilbara, Gascoyne and western parts of
the Goldfields. Heavy falls possible, extending from the north during the day.
Afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms over the north and west
Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 31 March
Rain and thunderstorms with possible heavy falls over northern and eastern
parts of the South West Land Division, Goldfields and the Gascoyne, contracting
southeast during the day. Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west
Kimberley, the Pilbara, southwest Interior and the western Eucla. Showers near
the western south coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 1 April
Showers near the south coast. Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west
Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, Interior, eastern Goldfields and
the Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
