Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
Moderate to fresh easterly winds across the Pilbara and Kimberley for the next
few days. Weather will increase over the western Pilbara on Monday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front will reach the western south coast Saturday evening. A trough
will develop near the west coast on Sunday. Rain developing over the western
half on Monday as the surface trough near the west coast interacts with an
upper level trough that draws moisture down from the north. The surface trough
will move through the eastern parts of the South West Land Division and
Goldfields during Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 28 March
Showers and thunderstorms over areas northeast of a line from Carnarvon to
Eyre. Showers near the western south coast and in the eastern South West Land
Division and southwest Goldfields. Heavy falls possible in the far northwestern
Kimberley.

Forecast for Sunday 29 March
Showers and thunderstorms north of a line from Denham to Leonora to Giles.

Forecast for Monday 30 March
Rain and the chance of thunderstorms with possible heavy falls extending
southwards across the western half of the State during the day. Showers and
thunderstorms in the Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 31 March
Rain and the chance of thunderstorms with possible heavy falls in northern and
eastern parts of the South West Land Division, Goldfields and southern
Gascoyne, contracting southeastwards during the day. Showers and thunderstorms
in the Pilbara, coastal Kimberley, northern Gascoyne, western Interior, and
western Eucla. Showers near the western south coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
