Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A low lies over the Gascoyne with a trough extending over the North Interior.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A low lies over the Gascoyne extending a surface trough over the North
Interior. Another trough extends from the low down the west coast whilst a
ridge lies south of the state. The west coast trough deepens today and
Wednesday and then moves inland from the coast later Wednesday into Thursday,
but moves back to the west coast on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 27 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and Interior,
eastern and southern Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, Central West, northern
Lower West and northern Central Wheat Belt. Gusty winds possible near
thunderstorms in the Gascoyne, Goldfields and Southwest Land Division. Heavy
falls possible with thunderstorms in the eastern Gascoyne and northwestern
Goldfields.

Forecast for Wednesday 28 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, eastern and
southern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Interior and most parts of the SW Land Division,
away from the south coast.

Forecast for Thursday 29 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, eastern and
southern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Interior and most parts of the SW Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 30 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields,
Interior and northern and central parts of the SW Land Division. Isolated
showers about southern coastal parts west of Bremer Bay.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
