Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough lies over the Gascoyne and extends into the
northern Interior.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies to the south of the state. A surface trough lies near the west
coast and is expected to remain near stationary for the next few days.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 31 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, south and east Pilbara, Interior,
Gascoyne, northern and central Goldfields, inland Eucla, northern parts of the
South West Land Division. Showers possible near the west Pilbara coast. Morning
drizzle possible near the south coast.

Forecast for Sunday 1 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, south and east Pilbara, Interior,
Gascoyne, Goldfields, northern Eucla, northern parts of the South West Land
Division extending to southwestern parts in the afternoon. Showers possible
near the Pilbara coast.

Forecast for Monday 2 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, western
Interior, Gascoyne, northwestern Goldfields, and the South West Land Division
except for the southeast parts.

Forecast for Tuesday 3 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, western
Interior, Gascoyne, northwestern Goldfields, and the South West Land Division
except for the southeast parts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
