Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough lies over the Gascoyne and extends into the
northern Interior.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies to the south of the state, with a high pressure system in the
Bight. A surface trough lies down the west coast and will deepen Wednesday
before moving inland briefly on Thursday. A new ridge of high pressure will
develop rapidly to the south of the state on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 28 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, eastern and
southern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Interior, northern and western parts of the
South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 29 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Gascoyne,
northern Goldfields, western Interior and central and western parts of the
South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 30 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Gascoyne,
northern and western Goldfields, western Interior and most parts of the South
West Land Division away from the south coast.
Morning drizzle near the south coast west of Albany.

Forecast for Saturday 31 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Gascoyne, northern Goldfields,
western Interior and northern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers
possible near the Pilbara coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
