for the period until midnight WST Sunday 2 February 2014.

Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the Kimberley and through the inland Pilbara.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge lies to the south of the state whilst a trough is located
near the west coast. The trough deepens during Thursday before moving inland on
Friday and Saturday. A new ridge of high pressure will develop to the southwest
of the state during Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 30 January
Showers and thunderstorms through the northern half of the state and parts of
the SW Land Division away from the southwest corner. Heavy falls possible in
the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Gascoyne and northwest Interior.

Forecast for Friday 31 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern half of the state, most of the SW
Land Division and western parts of the Goldfields.

Forecast for Saturday 1 February
Showers and thunderstorms over all but southeastern parts of the state. Showers
and thunderstorms clearing from southwestern parts of the state during the day.

Forecast for Sunday 2 February
Showers and thunderstorms over all but southeastern and far southwestern parts
of the state.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
