Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the Kimberley, through the inland Pilbara.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge lies along the south coast. A trough develops down the
west coast on Wednesday, deepens on Thursday and then moves inland on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 29 January
Showers and thunderstorms throughout the northern half of the state and over
the Central West district, extending into northern and central parts of the SW
Land Division later in the evening. Heavy falls possible in the Kimberley and
Pilbara.

Forecast for Thursday 30 January
Showers and thunderstorms through the northern half of the state and northern
and eastern parts of the SW Land Division.Heavy falls possible in the
Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Gascoyne and north Interior.

Forecast for Friday 31 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern half of the state, most of the SW
Land Division and western parts of the Goldfields.

Forecast for Saturday 1 February
Showers and thunderstorms over all but southeastern parts of the state.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
