Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure extends over central parts of the State and will
persist over the coming days.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front is moving across southern parts of the State and into the Bight. A
ridge will develop over southern parts on Tuesday, with a second cold front
brushing the south coast on Wednesday. Another ridge will develop over southern
parts on Thursday, before yet another cold front reaches the Southwest Capes
later on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 16 July
Showers southwest of a line Kalbarri to Israelite Bay, clearing from inland
parts during the early evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 17 July
Showers near the west coast south of Shark Bay and along the south coast,
clearing areas east of Albany during the morning.

Forecast for Wednesday 18 July
Showers southwest of a line Kalbarri to Israelite Bay, with only light falls
over inland parts.

Forecast for Thursday 19 July
Showers about the south coastal east of Albany, clearing in the evening.
Showers developing about the Southwest Capes late afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Friday 20 July
Showers about the Southwest Capes, tending to rain in the evening. Showers
extending through areas southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Albany during
the afternoon and evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
