Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is developing through central parts of the State. The
ridge will slowly move south on Friday before strengthening over the weekend.
The ridge then contacts towards eastern Australia on Monday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is developing through central parts, and will extend
through southern parts of the State on Friday ahead of a weak front which will
affect the far southwest during the afternoon and evening. The front will
continue along the south coast during Saturday morning. A second weak cold
front will reach the southwest of the state Sunday evening before dissipating
over southern parts of the State on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 26 July
Showers possible over western and southern coastal parts of the South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Friday 27 July
Showers extending throughout the South West Land Division and into the
southwest Gascoyne and southwest Goldfields during the morning and early
afternoon. Showers increasing over southwestern parts of the South West Land
Division during the late afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Saturday 28 July
Showers near the southern and Eucla coasts. Early showers over western parts of
the South West Land Division as well as parts of the Central Wheat Belt.

Forecast for Sunday 29 July
Showers southwest of a line Mandurah to Bremer Bay, increasing about
southwestern parts in the evening. Showers extending through areas southwest of
a line from Jurien Bay to Hopetoun in the evening.

Forecast for Monday 30 July
Showers through all but far northern parts of the South West Land Division,
contracting to south coastal parts in the evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Friday.
