Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A surface trough will lie near the southwest Kimberley and Pilbara coasts for
the next few days. Fresh easterly winds north of the trough. Warm for this time
of year, particularly through the Pilbara on Sunday and Monday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies to the south of the State. A surface trough near
the west coast will slowly deepen through to Tuesday, then move east on
Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 27 August
Showers and the chance of thunderstorms across the Gascoyne, Goldfields,
Central West, Central Wheat Belt and Great Southern. Warm across the northern
half of the State.

Forecast for Monday 28 August
Showers and possible thunderstorms through the Gascoyne, Goldfields, South
Interior and northeastern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers over
the Eucla, clearing during the day. Warm across the northern half of the State.

Forecast for Tuesday 29 August
Showers and thunderstorms through most parts of the South West Land Division,
the Gascoyne and Goldfields, reaching the western Eucla and southwest Interior
in the evening.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 August
Showers across much of the South West Land Division and southwest Gascoyne.
Showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Goldfields, South Interior and Eucla.

Forecast for Thursday 31 August
Showers extending from the southwest Capes in the morning to southwest of a
line Kalbarri to Esperance by evening. Showers and thunderstorms possible over
the southwest Interior, adjacent Goldfields and the Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
