Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A surface trough will linger near the southwest Kimberley and Pilbara coasts
for the next few days. Warm for this time of year, particularly through the
Pilbara on Sunday and Monday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies to the south of the State. A surface trough will
deepen near the west coast from Sunday until Tuesday, moving eastwards on
Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 26 August
Showers in southern parts between Augusta and Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Sunday 27 August
Morning showers near the western south coast. Showers and the chance of
thunderstorms across the Gascoyne, Goldfields, Central West, Central Wheat Belt
and Great Southern. Warm across the northern half of the State.

Forecast for Monday 28 August
Showers and possible thunderstorms through the Gascoyne, Goldfields, South
Interior and northeastern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers in the
Eucla, clearing during the day. Warm across the northern half of the State.

Forecast for Tuesday 29 August
Showers and thunderstorms through most parts of the South West Land Division,
the Gascoyne and Goldfields.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 August
Showers across much of the southern half of the State. Thunderstorms through
central parts, contracting eastwards during the day.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Sunday.
