Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
Over the next few days a trough will lie near the Kimberley coast and the
Pilbara coast, pushing offshore during the mornings.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge will lie over southern parts of the state during
Wednesday. A weak cold front will brush southern coastal parts Thursday
morning. A new ridge of high pressure will develop over southern parts of the
state Friday and Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 30 April
Showers in the Southwest and South Coastal districts, and the adjacent Lower
West and Great Southern, contracting to the western south coast in the
afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley,
northern Interior, and the far northeast Pilbara. Showers with possible
thunderstorms developing over the northern Gascoyne and central Interior during
the day.

Forecast for Thursday 1 May
Showers over the Southwest and South Coastal districts, extending to the Great
Southern, southern Central Wheat Belt, Southeast Coastal, adjacent and the far
southern Goldfields during the day. Showers and thunderstorms over the north
and west Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Gascoyne, Interior and the northern
Goldfields.

Forecast for Friday 2 May
Showers near the south coast extending to the inland Eucla for a period during
the day. Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, and Pilbara.

Forecast for Saturday 3 May
Showers near the south coast extending to the inland Eucla for a period during
the day. Showers and thunderstorms developing over the northern Kimberley,
western Pilbara, and western Gascoyne.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
