Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies near the Kimberley coast and the Pilbara coast.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A cloud band over central and western parts of the state for the next few days.
A low will develop near the west coast on Saturday, and contract south of the
state Sunday morning. A cold front will affect the southwest of the state
during Sunday afternoon and evening. A ridge will develop near the south coast
during Monday.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 25 April
Rain areas and isolated thunderstorms in the western Gascoyne and the western
Pilbara. Showers in the remainder of the Gascoyne through to the Goldfields,
Eucla, southern Interior, and the South West Land Division with isolated
thunderstorms in the northern Central West district. Showers likely to clear
some southern and central parts of the SW Land Division in the afternoon and
evening.
Forecast for Saturday 26 April
Rain areas and isolated thunderstorms with moderate to heavy falls possible
over western parts of the state. Showers over the remainder of the Goldfields,
southern Interior, and Eucla.
Forecast for Sunday 27 April
Rain areas and isolated thunderstorms during the morning in the southeast parts
of the SW Land Division, and the adjacent Goldfields. Showers over the
Gascoyne, western Pilbara, remainder of the Goldfields, southwest Interior,
Eucla, and the remainder of the South West Land Division. The chance of showers
and thunderstorms in the far north Kimberley coast.
Forecast for Monday 28 April
Showers over the western and southern Gascoyne, western Pilbara, southern
Goldfields, and the South West Land Division, contracting to the south coast
east of Albany in the afternoon. Showers and isolated thunderstorms in the
southern Interior and Eucla. The chance of showers and thunderstorms in the far
north Kimberley coast.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
