Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge extends through the central parts of the state with a general easterly
flow over the northern half for the next few days. A low will develop off the
western Pilbara coast on Sunday and extend a rain band over the Gascoyne and
Pilbara.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
The first of a series of cold fronts will affect the southwest of the state
later on Saturday, with a stronger front moving through during Sunday. A low
develops to the southwest of the state on Monday, with another front moving
through the southwest of the state early on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 22 June
Showers and possible thunderstorms over western parts of the Southwest
district, extending to areas southwest of a line Mandurah to Bremer Bay by
midnight.

Forecast for Sunday 23 June
Showers in western parts of the South West Land Division extending to all but
the far east during the day. Moderate to heavy falls and thunderstorms possible
southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Albany.
Rain developing over the western Pilbara and northern Gascoyne during the day,
with heavy falls possible over the western Pilbara and northwest Gascoyne.

Forecast for Monday 24 June
Showers about most parts of the South West Land Division, clearing inland and
eastern parts during the day, tending scattered in the afternoon and evening
southwest of a line Bunbury to Albany with isolated thunderstorms.
Rain through the Pilbara, Gascoyne, far northern Goldfields and western
Interior, extending throughout the central Interior during the day. Moderate to
heavy falls possible about the Pilbara.

Forecast for Tuesday 25 June
Rain through the Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, Interior and far southwest
Kimberley. Moderate to heavy falls possible about the Pilbara and far northeast
Gascoyne. Showers through most of the SW Land Division, easing during the day.
Morning thunderstorms possible along the western south coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 26 June
Rain areas over the southern Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne,
Interior and Eucla. Showers over south coastal parts of the SW Land Division
and the adjacent west coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Sunday.
