Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A band of middle level cloud lies over the far east Pilbara and west Kimberley
through to the Interior, and is expected to weaken during the remainder of
Thursday and Friday. A fresh Easterly flow developing during Friday.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over the south of the state and is slowly
strengthening. A weak cold front should brush the southwest Capes on Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 26 June
Areas of rain over the southwest Kimberley, far eastern Pilbara and the
northern Interior with thunderstorms possible near the west Kimberley coast.
Showers over the northern and eastern Goldfields, southern Interior and the
Eucla. Showers over the west coast south of Perth and along the south coast.
Forecast for Thursday 27 June
Areas of rain over the southwest Kimberley and the northern Interior with
thunderstorms possible near the west Kimberley coast. Showers over the northern
and eastern Goldfields, southern Interior and the Eucla. Showers over the
Southwest district and the western South Coastal district.
Forecast for Friday 28 June
Patchy rain over the southwest Kimberley and far northern Interior Showers over
the far eastern Goldfields, southern Interior and the Eucla. Showers near the
west coast south of Jurien Bay, over the Southwest district, western South
Coastal district and adjacent Great Southern.
Forecast for Saturday 29 June
Rain areas over the southwest Kimberley, far northern Interior and far eastern
Pilbara. Isolated showers about coastal parts of the Southwest district.
Forecast for Sunday 30 June
Rain areas over the southwest Kimberley, far northwest Interior and the central
and eastern Pilbara. Isolated showers about southern coastal parts of the
Southwest district.
