Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A band of middle level cloud lies over the Kimberley and Interior, and is
expected to weaken by the weaken and drift slowly south into the Pilbara. A
fresh easterly flow develops over the weekend.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over the south of the state and is slowly
strengthening. A weak cold front should approach the southwest corner on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 27 June
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms about the Kimberley and northern
Interior. Isolated showers over the southeast Eucla. Showers over mostly
coastal parts southwest of a line Perth to Albany, with isolated thunderstorms
possible near the south coast.

Forecast for Friday 28 June
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over the southern and western
Kimberley and northeast Interior. Showers southwest of a line Mandurah to
Walpole, with early thunderstorms possible near the Southwest Capes. Isolated
showers over the southeast Eucla, extending through the remaining Eucla and
into the southeast Goldfields for a period in the middle of the day. Patchy
frost and fog over inland parts of the SW Land Division and the southern
Goldfields in the early morning. Early fog possible over the northern Kimberley.

Forecast for Saturday 29 June
Patchy rain over the southwest Kimberley, far northern Interior and far eastern
Pilbara. Isolated showers about coastal parts of the Southwest district.

Forecast for Sunday 30 June
Patchy rain over the far southwest Kimberley, far northwest Interior and the
central and eastern Pilbara. Isolated showers about southern coastal parts of
the Southwest district in the morning.

Forecast for Monday 1 July
Some very patchy rain possible over near coastal parts of the Pilbara..
Isolated showers about coastal parts of the Southwest district, extending up
the west coast as far north as Perth in the evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Friday.
