Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough and cloud band lies across the central Pilbara and down to the
northeast Gascoyne and adjacent Interior. The cloud band and trough are
steadily moving east and slowly weakening, with it expected to lie over the
Kimberley and northeast Interior by Thursday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front lies near a line Jurien Bay to Bremer and is expected to
continue moving east and weaken today. A ridge of high pressure lies across
central parts of the state and should move south over the next few days.
Another weak cold front will affect just the southwest corner of the state on
Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 25 June
Rain across the Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, southwest Kimberley and the
Interior, gradually clearing from the west. Heavy falls and localised flooding
possible in the Pilbara and adjacent parts.
Showers possible throughout the southern half of the state, clearing most
inland parts during the late afternoon.

Forecast for Wednesday 26 June
Areas of rain in the southwest Kimberley, far eastern Pilbara and the northern
Interior with showers in the eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla.
Isolated showers near the south coast and in the Southwest district.

Forecast for Thursday 27 June
Areas of rain in the southwest Kimberley and northern Interior. Showers
possible through central and eastern parts of the state and southwest of a line
from Mandurah to Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Friday 28 June
Rain persisting in the southwest Kimberley and northern Interior. Showers
possible through southeastern parts of the state and in the Southwest district.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
