Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough and cloud band lies across eastern parts and is slowly moving east and
weakening with it expected to lie over the Kimberley and northeast Interior by
Thursday and remain almost stationary during Friday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front is brushing the Eucla coast and moving out of the area this
morning. Cloud associated with the cloud band in the north covers eastern
parts. A ridge of high pressure lies over the south of the state and is slowly
strengthening. A weak cold front should brush the southwest Capes on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 26 June
Scattered and isolated thunderstorms in the western Kimberley, tending to rain
further inland. Areas of rain in the eastern Pilbara and northeastern Interior.
Isolated showers in remaining eastern parts of the state, clearing from the
west later. Isolated showers along the south coast and along the west coast
south of Mandurah, generally light in the west.

Forecast for Thursday 27 June
Areas of rain in the southwest Kimberley and northern Interior. Showers
possible through central and eastern parts of the state and southwest of a line
from Mandurah to Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Friday 28 June
Rain persisting in the southwest Kimberley and northern Interior. Showers
possible through southeastern parts of the state and in the Southwest district.

Forecast for Saturday 29 June
Rain areas in the southwest Kimberley, northwest Interior and eastern Pilbara.
Isolated showers about coastal parts of the Southwest district.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
