Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A weakening band of middle level cloud lies over the Kimberley and northern
Interior and is expected to weaken and drift slowly west into the Pilbara over
the weekend. A fresh easterly flow develops over the weekend.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over the south of the state and is slowly
strengthening. A weak cold front should move over the south of the state on
Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 28 June
Isolated light showers in the Kimberley and northern Interior, thunderstorms
possible near the coast between Kalumburu and Derby. Isolated showers near the
coast between Mandurah and Walpole.

Forecast for Saturday 29 June
Isolated light showers in the Kimberley and northern Interior, extending east
into the eastern Pilbara and clearing in eastern parts. Isolated showers
contracting to coastal parts between Cape Naturaliste and Walpole. Morning
frost or fog possible in the south of the state.

Forecast for Sunday 30 June
Isolated light showers clearing out of the Kimberley and Interior, persisting
in the northern Pilbara. Isolated showers in coastal parts between Cape
Naturaliste and Walpole. Morning frost possible in inland Southwest Land
Division.

Forecast for Monday 1 July
Isolated light showers clearing in the Pilbara. Isolated showers along the
western south coast. Morning frost possible in inland Southwest Land Division
and adjacent Goldfields and southern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Tuesday 2 July
Showers extending into most parts of the Southwest Land Division during the
day, only light falls expected in northeastern parts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Saturday.
