Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A weak ridge of high pressure lies across central WA.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure over central WA will maintain a westerly flow over the
southern half for the coming days. A cold front will reach the southwest Capes
during this evening and move across the southwest of the State early Wednesday.
A stronger cold front will reach the southwest corner of the State Thursday
night and move across southern WA during Friday.
Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 25 July
Showers southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Lake Grace to Bremer Bay,
increasing over the South West district during the afternoon and evening.
Forecast for Wednesday 26 July
Showers extending across the South West Land Division during the day.
Thunderstorms possible in the morning over the Lower West, South West districts
and adjacent parts.
Forecast for Thursday 27 July
Showers over western parts of the Lower West and South West districts during
the morning, extending to southwest of a line Geraldton to Bremer Bay during
the afternoon and evening evening. Winds and showers increasing in the west
during the evening, with the chance of thunderstorms over the South West
district.
Forecast for Friday 28 July
Windy across the southern half of the State. Showers over the South West Land
Division, extending to the southwestern Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla during
the afternoon and evening. Thunderstorms and small hail possible southwest of a
line from Perth to Bremer Bay during the evening.
Forecast for Saturday 29 July
Showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Lake Grace to Israelite Bay, with
possible hail about southern coastal parts. The chance of thunderstorms about
south coastal parts west of Albany towards evening.
