Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure across central WA will strengthen tonight with fresh
southeasterly winds across most northern parts on Monday. Another surge in
southeasterly winds is forecast for Wednesday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong cold front will affect the southwest of the State on Monday with a
cold southerly change behind the front. A weak ridge of high pressure with
develop over the southern half on Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of a second cold
front expected to move over the southwest of the state during Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 30 July
Showers along the south coast, extending to western coastal parts of the South
West district this evening.
Windy across the Pilbara.

Forecast for Monday 31 July
A strong cold front bringing a period of showers, strong and gusty winds and
possible thunderstorms to the South West Land Division during the day, reaching
the southern Gascoyne and southern Goldfields in the evening. Cold with small
hail possible during the afternoon and evening across the southern half of the
South West Land Division. Possible snow flurries about the Stirling Ranges
Monday night.

Forecast for Tuesday 1 August
Showers over southern districts of the South West Land Division and west
coastal parts south of Jurien Bay, and across the Eucla and southeastern
Goldfields. Cold and windy near the south coast with the risk of thunderstorms
and small hail, contracting eastwards during the day.

Forecast for Wednesday 2 August
Showers near the south coast.

Forecast for Thursday 3 August
Showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Albany extending eastwards during the
day to south west of a line Geraldton to Esperance by the evening. Possible
thunderstorms and hail about southern coastal parts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
