Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A cloud band through eastern parts of the state will move eastwards and weaken
during today.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A cloud band through eastern parts of the state will move eastwards and weaken
during today. A cold front will move over southern parts of the South West Land
Division during Sunday, before stalling and weakening, with possible heavy
falls about the southwest corner of the state.
Forecast for the rest of Saturday 17 May
Showers southwest of a line from Perth to Albany. Showers and thunderstorms
over central and southeastern parts of the state, contracting eastwards during
the day. Isolated afternoon showers possible in the Goldfields, Gascoyne and
the northern Kimberley.
Forecast for Sunday 18 May
Showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay, extending to remaining
areas southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Israelite Bay during the afternoon.
Thunderstorms and moderate to heavy falls possible in areas southwest of
Bunbury to Albany. Showers and thunderstorms in the southwest Interior,
northeast Goldfields, Eucla and northern Kimberley.
Forecast for Monday 19 May
Showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Merredin to Israelite Bay. Showers
and thunderstorms in the Interior, adjacent Goldfields, east Eucla and northern
Kimberley.
Forecast for Tuesday 20 May
Showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay. Showers and thunderstorms
in the central Interior, Goldfields, eastern parts of the SW Land Division.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
