Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough over the Pilbara will move east into the Kimberley and North Interior
on Monday. A high pressure ridge will develop south of the State on Tuesday and
Wednesday, before a new trough develops inland from the Pilbara and Kimberley
coasts on Thursday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep trough inland from the west coast will move east ahead of a cold front
that will cross the southwest of the State on Monday. A new ridge will develop
near the south coast on Tuesday and Wednesday, before a weak cold front brushes
southwestern parts on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 9 September
Showers about the Southwest District. Showers with possible thunderstorms in
the southern Gascoyne, northeastern and eastern parts of the South West Land
Division, and the adjacent Goldfields.

Forecast for Monday 10 September
Showers extending through areas southwest of a line from Shark Bay to Israelite
Bay during the day. Showers with possible thunderstorms in the southeast
Gascoyne, eastern parts of the South West Land Division, Goldfields and western
Eucla, contracting eastwards during the day. Afternoon showers and
thunderstorms possible over the far north Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 11 September
Showers about western and southern parts of the South West Land Division,
clearing western parts during the day. Showers with the chance of a
thunderstorm about the eastern Eucla and southeast Interior, clearing in the
afternoon.

Forecast for Wednesday 12 September
Showers southwest of a line from Perth to Albany.

Forecast for Thursday 13 September
Showers southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
