Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A new trough is developing over the Pilbara and will move east during Monday
and Tuesday as a high pressure system extends from the west.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front will brush the southwest of the State during the evening. A
ridge of high pressure develops rapidly along the south coast in wake of the
front from Monday through to Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 16 September
Showers developing southwest of Busselton to Walpole during the morning,
extending through areas southwest of a line from Bunbury to Bremer Bay during
the afternoon and to west coastal areas south of Perth in the evening.

Forecast for Monday 17 September
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division. Mornings showers
near the west coast between Geraldton and Lancelin. Evening showers and
thunderstorms over the far eastern Eucla and adjacent southern Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 18 September
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division, contracting to the
south coast in the evening. Showers and thunderstorms possible over the South
Interior. Areas of morning frost over inland parts of the South West Land
Division and the adjacent Goldfields. Gusty southeasterly winds over central
parts of the State.

Forecast for Wednesday 19 September
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division and the Eucla
coast, mostly morning. Gusty winds over the Pilbara, Interior and northern
Gascoyne.

Forecast for Thursday 20 September
Clear over most parts of the State. Gusty southeasterly winds over northern
districts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
